Fly Like An Eagle - Magnus Hikes

Eagle Rock really does look like an eagle. It was fun to climb up and ride on its back too. There are lots of snakes around so you have to be careful, but imagining that I was flying was a nice break from hiking. You can day-hike to Eagle Rock from Warner Springs, and so there are other people joining in on the PCT for a while.

Very Australian looking part of the trail, made me think of Mum.

The country around Eagle Rock reminded me a lot of Australia, kind of grassy and dry with trees in the gullies. The trees here are oaks I think, and really pretty when the trail goes through them.

Trees in the gullies are pretty and shady.
