Lone Pine is our last resupply before attempting Mt. Whitney. We had to stay an extra day because the post office was closed in honor of Juneteenth, and we needed our resupply box. On the second night, we ate at the Merry Go Round Chinese restaurant. The food was awesome, the people were friendly, and we got fortune cookies. This was my fortune:
Your Present Plans Are Going To Succeed
Not a bad thing to read when our “present plans” are to climb Mt. Whitney! We’re feeling really pretty prepared and pretty lucky too 🙂
